Qualifications: Must pass the ParaPro Assessment (Praxis) with a passing score and the results must be on file with LCSD Office before employment begins. Must have the ability to work well with students and with school staff. A current teaching license or substitute teaching license is highly desirable. Background check required.

Lincoln County Power District No. 1 is accepting applications for the position of groundman. This is a full time position with benefits. A groundman assists linemen in the construction, operation and maintenance of overhead and underground power distribution and transmission facilities. This employee shall be required to perform manual labor and at times may be required to operate heavy equipment.This employee may be called upon to lift heavy objects and work long hours under strenuous conditions. This employee must be available for after-hour standby on a regularly scheduled basis. This employee will be required to obtain a Nevada Commercial Driver’s License, become certified in forklift and derrick truck operation, become certified in pole climbing and pole top rescue, become certified in first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation, and become certified in the District’s lock-out/tag-out procedures. The District will provide training to all employees. Failure to obtain required licenses and certifications may result in termination. This employee will be required to participate in the District’s drug screening and testing program. Consultant needed to provide individualized Adult and Youth Education
Lincoln County Workforce (Lincoln County grants) desires to contract a part-time education consultant. The education consultant will assist adults and youth in an opportunity to achieve either a high school diploma or an equivalency certificate. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate and socially motivated professional able to use creative and flexible education approaches. A teaching certificate is preferred.
Time Frame: July 2019 to June 2020
Work Location: Main worksite is Lincoln County Workforce office at 360 Lincoln St., Caliente, NV and subsites at schools in Pioche, Panaca and Alamo as needed. Applications closes July 23, 2019.

LINCOLN COUNTY WORKFORCE
Lincoln County Workforce has an opening for a Quality Assurance person.
Quality Assurance Staff: LCW Quality Assurance (QA) staff will assist Program Director in maintaining finances for program year.
The LCW QA will also ensure file maintenance, completion, and eligibility of participants entering the program.
The LCW QA will assist potential youth in eligibility or referring to external WIOA services.
The LCW QA will be responsible for administrative duties, navigating the Employ NV database, reviewing and updating files and the data entry system for missing information and services.
QA will do data entry on all files as needed and assist with the new enrollment data entry. Competency in spreadsheets and tracking measures
of participants.
LCW QA will also work closely with Financial Manager to maintain billing and track/confirm payments and expenditures.
Promoting the Workforce program with in the schools and community.
Other duties as required or assigned.
This position is 30 hours a week. Job is based on a year to year grant funding.
* Necessary skills include; Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe), good communication and people skills, the ability to work with deadlines and be detailed oriented.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as well as have a High School diploma.
