Alamo Sewer and Water Operator
Full-Time Employment
Job Description/General Assignments:
Knowledge of all wells (well logs, preventative maintenance, and water resources), automatic control systems, valve locations and system plans (pipes, man holes, lift station and treatment plant); repair leaks, read meters and replace faulty meters; monitor tank level daily; general system maintenance (lift station, well locations and pumps) and any other necessary duties
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor
Valid Nevada driver’s license
Hiring is contingent upon receiving distribution and wastewater certification within 1 year of employment.
Drug testing may be required before hiring and during employment.
Benefits:
Starting pay is $15 per hour. There will be a $1 an hour raise for completion of each certification required for our operation.
